Your Personal Bridal Alterations Experience with Becca.

You’ve secured your gown! Congratulations!

We can now begin to bring your vision to life!

From your very first contact with me I will guide you through the entire process of fitting your gown perfectly to you, along with all extras needed to complete your look. In our conversations leading up to your first fitting, we will discuss where your gown is from, whether you have purchased a new gown, a sample gown, a second hand gown, or have a special garment you would like to restyle. From here I will thoroughly explain the entire process from the moment you have your gown all the way through to having it cleaned after your special day.

Every appointment is tailored to you, ensuring a calm, supportive, and personalised experience from first fitting to final collection. With access to a wide range of fabrics, materials, and finishes, I am able to customise each gown to reflect your vision—whether that’s perfecting the fit, adding bespoke details, or transforming a dress into something truly unique.

Unless you have a full redesign or resize by multiple sizes, your first fitting is scheduled for around 6 weeks prior to your wedding. Your final fitting is then arranged for 1-3 weeks out from your wedding to ensure it fits perfectly on the day but still allowing time for last minute changes if needed. Together we can achieve a perfect fit for most gowns with 3 fittings, however your comfort and minimising your stress is always my priority so should you need more fittings than this I am always more than happy to provide these. More complex alterations, style changes and resizes often have 4-6 fittings.
